I just got through tagging the entries around Empress Wu’s death. Damn, that sucked. Much worse than tagging those around Toadstool’s death. I am going to need to go home and hug kitties big-time.

So I have tagged almost all of 2006 now. Tagging is not easy; as I mentioned it requires reading everything. It’s also been a bit of a pain because my site doesn’t like me opening so many windows on it at once; I keep getting timeouts trying to load edit pages. Only four more years to tag now.

Today is another woot-off, but I’ve had four meetings today and I missed the electronic sudoku game that would’ve been $10 shipped. Nothing else has been remotely tempting, really.

The woot-off has really picked up the pace, but so far there hasn’t been anything I wanted to get. A couple of items made me look up further specs, but still no buys.

My good day tomorrow is not to be, sadly. I will have to go to Silver Spring after all, but it’s too late to move my Diet to Go pickup back to McLean. I’m scheduled in the office from 7:30-4pm, but my supervisor has explicitly told me that I can show up at 8 or 8:30, and I decided to take three hours unpaid leave so I can go pick up my food in Fort Belvoir. The traffic shouldn’t be too terrible around 1pm, so maybe it will go fast enough that I get an early start on the weekend. If I waited until 4pm to leave Silver Spring, I’d be amazed if I got home by 8pm.

I really like the design I put on my website, but I am browsing around again for three-column alternatives. I’ve had two columns forever, and there’s so much more I could put in a sidebar if I had two of them.

Also, the travel agent stuff didn’t work out either, so there is no happy travel. We’re still going to Las Vagues in February, there’s just no additional trip that I was hoping for. I am so tired! • I am getting to play travel agent. I like playing travel agent. The numbers are alarmingly large, but I still like playing travel agent!
• I don’t have to go to the office tomorrow after all! I will either be in my normal job all day, or I will have a holiday lunch assignment at a restaurant near here, and I’ll be teamed with my supervisor who will creatively schedule my annual review around the lunch assignment so I will have a short day! And fortunately I was able to put my Diet-to-Go food back to my usual pickup location, instead of the place in McLean I’d moved it to when I thought I was going to be in Silver Spring.
• My Coexist sticker finally arrived, I put my DOD decals on, I have my own license plates on, I have insurance, and everything is happy skippy with my car. She looks good!
• I mailed my application to Gallaudet yesterday. I know I’ve mentioned it a billion times, but it’s on my mind a lot. I am excited and scared! Fortunately the school-provided health insurance is United Healthcare’s Choice Plus plan, and my current physician already accepts them, so I won’t even have to switch doctors!
• Today is a woot-off! It’s been going very slowly though.
