I have no idea if I’m forgetting stuff, I really should get out the syllabus for all my classes and double-check everything. But it’s getting late now and I have to go to bed.

• Enormous research paper about accreditation - my own topic choice - that I am probably putting too much thought into already

• Three more math classes
• Two more history classes
• Three more FYS/English classes
• Two more ASL lectures and seminars

Final exams aren’t really on my radar yet, though I know the English one will be easy (but it’s AT NIGHT?!?!), the history one has already been given to us as a take-home, and the ASL one will be a vlog, also done at home. My math teacher didn’t give us a midterm, so who knows if he’ll give us a final. My math teacher is a little unorthodox.

Here’s the schedule for today, kinda outta order.

• Wash hair, do not condition
• Stop by Ranger Surplus for a decon container
• Replace Meadowlark cache container and log
• Return thing to Radio Shack (did it last night)
• Discuss trip to New York
• Dye hair
• Pick up Freecycle items

Oh man…see, I knew this was going to happen. I’ve forgotten what else I needed to do today. I hate when this happens. So…more later, if I remember it.

I signed up for Weekendr but it’s not what I expected - it’s more an eVite sort of thing - so here’s what I’m up to this weekend.

• Followup ENT appointment about my eardrums (Fri 3:45pm)
• Interpreting with fairerhiannon for the Mr. MD Leather contest in Baltimore (Sat 3pm)
• Review application essays based on sskipstress’s comments and reply to her
• Reply to Sarah
• Figure out the interpreter situation at Farpoint given that it overlaps with the Vegas trip
• Cleaning up front yard (kayak, paddles, leaves, hose, etc)
• Mail check to metanaive!
• Put Hello Kitty seat covers in both cars (if they get here)
• Put stuff back into car

• I really should redo my sidebar. I haven’t updated it to change the Divinitas link into a link to my main TCG page even though Divinitas has been dead for months and I’ve joined a couple of others. There’s also just random junk in there I can get rid of.
• I need to wash my Qbee quilt.
• I have found that, as I was told by a Google staffer, Google Analytics is indeed chugging right along despite it thinking it’s not properly installed on my site. It doesn’t really tell me anything useful, though, so I am hoping to get a Measure Map invitation soon. Also, I clearly have smart readers, because 48.4% are using Firefox and only 46.6% are using IE!
• I have earned upwards of $15 from the Mechanical Turk; I think I will get all the way to $25 (free shipping) before redeeming anything into my Amazon account.
• I’m not sure why I’m posting this in my journal and not in my lovely self-hosted installation of Tasks.

After I grab a few hours’ of sleep, I have to:

• Put my timesheet into an envelope, address it and stamp it
• Put on my jewelry (necklace, ring, pin)
• Review the checklist
• Pack more reading material
• Bring writing implement(s) for journal
• Take out the trash

Fortunately A doesn’t have to drive her dad to the metro tomorrow, so I get to sleep in until 8:00 and we don’t leave until 8:40!

I’m feeling like I’m behind on a lot of things, so I guess it’s time for another to-do list. It feels like all I’ve done lately is try to catch up on reading friends’ journals and blogs, and by the time I’m done with that the day is done and I’ve no time left for my own interests.

Mes projets du jour…

Cleaning up my blog templates directory - I moved all of the dead links (hand-checked, thank you) out of the main section. But because I can’t bring myself to delete them forever, they’re now in a separate category.

Trying to integrate said directory - I really would like to get the directory integrated into the rest of my site, and maintain it as a useful resource for others. I’m currently investigating possible solutions; Links 2.0 is nice but I’d like to switch to something based in MySQL and PHP. There are plenty of options (though Fantastico only offers phpLinks), it’s just a matter of deciding which one.

Working with Suzanne on her blog - I love helping friends with MT! She’s also looking for a new design, so I got to comb through all those precious template sites and look at everything. I sent her a few ideas, we’ll see what happens!

Surfing BlogExplosion - Yes, I signed up for BlogExplosion! My buddy Aldon said it’s an awesome time sink, and I am already having a lot of fun with it. I especially like that you don’t have to install any actual code on your site to participate. I currently have my main site listed there, but I would really like to get CyDy Blog listed, because it is desperate for traffic. They have a rule about no sexually explicit content, though, and CyDy Blog is kind of borderline, so we’ll see.

Redo my blogroll - I’ve been using Blogrolling since its inception, but they keep taking away features. Now it’s basically crippleware, and at $20/year I am not paying for it. Jade’s MySQLinks looks like a great alternative, though, so I’m going to get that implemented ASAP.
