Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken is on TV, it’s the 1991 movie about the old Atlantic City diving horses and the girl who was blinded during a dive. I was 10 when the movie came out, and I loved horses, so I loved this movie! But I haven’t seen it in at least a dozen years. It just happens to be on one of the 87,000 channels my in-laws get (Encore Drama, to be specific) so I’m watching it now. I went looking for information about the diving horses, and I came upon this page about them.
I was quite surprised to see a mention of “Petticoat Discipline Quarterly” in the article. I looked up at the URL, and to my surprise, I was on the Petticoat Discipline Quarterly site! I’ve heard of petticoat discipline before, and it doesn’t bother me at all, I just don’t get why the page about diving horses was on a petticoat discipline site!
Nothing fancy tonight, was busy gettin’ down and now it’s time for bed! I did get a litter box today to keep upstairs, we had one when Toadie was alive but we got rid of it after she died. Now Amanita is old and needs one upstairs, so I got one and this time we’re using crystal cat litter. I’ve never used that kind before…I’m not sure if it will work with the sifting box I got, but it doesn’t really matter. If not, we can just take out the sifter! I’m looking forward to the reduced amount of maintenance necessary.
I have seen all kinds of CAPTCHAs. That’s the visual verification many websites use these days to prove you’re a human - you know, type the code in the little box, or listen to the audio file, etc. Some CAPTCHAs (like at my bank) are actual words, but most are random combinations of letters and numbers. Well, here’s the best random CAPTCHA I’ve ever gotten:

The morning started with me hitting snooze a time or two, and then when I got up I checked out of the hotel and brought my bags to my car. I got coffee at 7-11 and headed for the workshop. I was a block or two away when I noticed a few women standing around in yellow smocks. I thought “oh boy, they’re going to be handing out literature,” but as I approached I saw their smocks read “Planned Parenthood Escort.” As I approached the intersection, I was astonished to see several dozen protesters reciting the rosary, along with a great big picture of the Virgin Mary and so forth. I went up to two of the escorts and asked them about it; apparently every third Saturday this group comes down after their 7:00am mass to do this. It turns out that the building where my workshop was has the surgical center for all of Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania, and abortions are done on Saturdays…hence the protest.
I chatted with the escorts for a couple of minutes and they offered to walk me in; I didn’t think I needed it but I let them come along. They ended up leaving me, though, to join a phalanx of escorts that was hustling a young woman into the building. Most of the protesters just kept saying the rosary, but a few walked alongside the woman and begged her not to go inside. They tried to shove literature at her, but she kept her head down and ignored them. The protesters aren’t allowed into the PPSP courtyard, so once we were past the gate the escorts broke away and the woman continued inside with her male friend. I was right on their heels and I could see that the woman was crying; her friend had to go up to the receptionist because she was too upset.
I went upstairs to the workshop room and dropped off my stuff, and I took a cell phone picture looking down onto the crowd. A couple of other students were already there, and one had ended up with literature in pretty pastels while the other had been presented with a tiny stuffed dog that had a note tied around its neck saying something about “don’t kill your baby.” I decided to go back downstairs to gawk a bit (from the safety of the courtyard), and I ended up taking a couple of pictures. As others arrived for the workshop, some were escorted and some were not; the protestors were telling every female walking in - including obvious staff members - that they didn’t have to do this, etc. Another woman from the workshop had a real camera with her, and she took pictures too; I gave her my email address so I will get to see them. One workshop student who was watching with me said she wasn’t sure she wanted to be in a building where abortions were being performed, but she ended up coming in anyway. When the deaf workshop participant arrived, she was guided by several escorts and I followed her into the building because it was almost 9:00 anyway. I explained on the way upstairs what the protestors were there for.
When the workshop began, we spent the first half-hour talking about the protest. The facilitator explained that there is rationale for doing the workshop on protest weekends, and rationale for not doing so; if they are at the same time, she has reasons for warning the participants on Friday, and reasons for not doing that. She hadn’t warned us because she wanted to see how we would respond, because as interpreters we could potentially encounter things like that and it’s good to have examined your feelings beforehand.
The workshop itself was about domestic violence in the morning and interpreting practice in the afternoon. For lunch I had a roasted tofu sandwich I’d bought the night before…at 7-11 of all places! The deli case there had multiple vegan sandwiches from a Pennsylvania company called Moshe’s; I was very impressed, and the sandwich I had was delicious. When the workshop ended I hightailed it back to my car and got on the road as quickly as possible, stopping only to pay $50 (!) for parking and only once along the way for gas.
Helpfully bolded to make it easier for you to skip stuff!

This post includes information about my sex life. You’ve been warned!
Oh, wow. I recently had the opportunity to test a “rabbit” vibrator, and I just have to say…wow. I have actually owned one for a few years, but we’ve never really used it; it’s the regular kind with the swirling pearls.
I recently got the Hop’n Stroker rabbit vibrator from The Rabbit Vibrator. I was attracted to this model because it has a very special feature: it thrusts. Most rabbits have swirling pearls somewhere along the shaft, usually with some additional shaft beyond them. The Hop’n Stroker, on the other hand, has a little accordion section, and then the head. It has a bunch of buttons on the front - only some of which made sense to me - and it takes four AA batteries.
So anyway, I’ve owned a rabbit vibe for a long time, but I’d never really tried it. What on earth was I waiting for?! Having a vibrating dildo that attaches the vibrator right where it belongs is awesome. I like to be penetrated, but it’s not all about the penetration. And a vibrating dildo, while fun, isn’t quite right either. (As a side note, if you’re going to insert the head of your Hitachi Magic Wand, use a Reality female condom - it’s bigger than a regular condom and much easier to get over the bulb.) But the rabbit vibrator is just right! As soon as my girlfriend turned it on, my eyes got big and I started saying “oh wow” a lot.
The Hop’n Stroker is definitely an interesting device. I think it’s best if you have more nerve endings deep in your pussy - I couldn’t really tell it was thrusting as opposed to the typical swirling down near the entrance. But the really great feature of the Hop’n Stroker was the “Auto” button for the bunny. It really spices up solo play, because it adds a lot of mystery to what’s going on! My girlfriend did have a note of caution about this button, though - if you don’t want to use the auto function, be careful how you hold this vibe. We were going along great, but then her hand slipped and it really threw me off! (The other buttons, except for speed up and down for both bunny and shaft, were a mystery…I hope to someday figure out what “F” and “C” mean.)
Overall, though, the Hop’n Stroker was a lot of fun. It was a wild new experience for me and I can’t wait for my girlfriend to try it too! I also want to recommend The Rabbit Vibrator again for your rabbit vibe needs. It’s run by a very friendly lesbian and they have many different kinds of rabbits - waterproof, rechargeable, slimline, Internet-enabled (!), hands-free, and more!
This is a tough post to write, but I’m up to the challenge. I thought about locking it, or filtering it, or something, but I’m not going to. I am, however, going to hide part of it, because not everybody wants to read about my sex life.

I asked to be interviewed by
kgola and here are the results! My earlier offer to interview others still stands - just post a comment. These questions are partly about sex, so my parents should probably look the other way…

I saw
