Right now, our home is worth about two and a half times what we paid for it. We used to dream about installing a hot tub and remodeling the master bathroom, both of which would increase our home’s value…though we no longer have money for either of those plans. And yet some people have enough money for conservatories as add-ons to their home! I’m not sure if this is only popular for United Kingdom home improvements or if it is done in the United States too. They are definitely more elegant than the screened-in back porch we have now - and with their glass sides, it reduces the risk of cats climbing up the walls like they do on our back porch!
I really love New York City. I go there about once a month to hang out with my best friends, who both live in Manhattan. I know several other people who live there too, and if I could, I would move there! I am such a perfect fit for NYC…I don’t mind not being social, and I like the big city, and it’s got so much entertainment and activities - I would love it!
Looking at the New York condo blog is both fascinating and disappointing. I love floor plans and looking at the features in apartment buildings and all that kind of stuff. The bloggers take their own pictures of the buildings and tour each one, and they give their impressions on various aspects of the building amenities and the individual condos. The disappointing part of the blog is the pricing section included in each entry…because I know I will never be able to afford to live in any of these places!
