Wow, this picture actually came out pretty good! The Metro Weekly photographer was taking a lot of pictures of me, which was kind of weird, but I’m really pleased they picked a good one. Of course it wasn’t in the magazine, but it did make it into the Scene page for the event. There’s also a great picture of |

My second corset arrived yesterday, but I was far too tired to do anything with it! So I tried it on tonight. It isn’t quite what I was expecting (which was this in dusty pink and without the latex splatter), so I was a bit worried at first, but when I tried it on it was actually fairly nice so I’m reasonably happy with it. The picture isn’t very good because it was the last before the camera died - it only lasts a very short time per set of new batteries - so I was in the middle of saying something and not posed properly. But there it is and there I am! |

1. I love Freecycle. 2. We are mean, mean aunties! |
I finally got my last two Alaska pictures scanned! They cost a total of $30, which is really expensive for a couple of sheets of photo paper, but at least I got them scanned so they can be seen by everybody instead of just sitting in a frame at home.
I am not wearing makeup, and I haven’t edited out any flaws in my face or anything.

This is only the second time I’ve tried it on; I can tell that eventually I will be able to take it in much tighter. |

Again, only the second time I’ve worn it; my breasts are actually much bigger than this but the unitard squashes them a bit. |

Cropped from the full-size (15mb) version of this image, taken in June 1991. I have also reoriented the photo so the Potomac and Anacostia rivers are in the alignment most familiar to DC residents. |
This rotund fellow is at the entrance to my subdivision. He’s much bigger than the snowmen I made as a kid, which were more like snowlumps!
By the way, I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned this before or not, but I am keeping a log of the pictures I take on my Sidekick by sending them all to Flickr and tagging them “sidekick” as well. I’ve only sent a few to my site as actual photoblog entries so far, but if you’d like to keep up with all of my Sidekick photos, you can do so using either RSS 2.0 or Atom. As you’ll notice, I have a lot of pictures of my cats! I love taking pictures of them. I am also sending some of my Sidekick pictures to my HIPalbum, but that’s mostly so I can use their random avatar feature:
It’s a good thing I touch-type so well; I imagine this would really screw up a hunt-and-peck typist! I’ve tried fixing them but they just won’t pop off…fortunately I don’t use this machine on a daily basis!
