I saw Dan’s entry about the favicon generator while I was at work today, so I put it in my DCTO blog for future reference. When I got home and could play with it, I ended up making a whole bunch of favicons! I’ve got 25 so far, but like my icon gallery I could go crazy. Not all of the icons would make good favicons - it’s much harder to cram data into 16×16 than 100×100 but I did get several good Neopets icons out of it. I have three that are actual pictures of my face, and I’ll have to see if I want to use any of them on my site.

Wow, 25. I only went through about 10 but then again, I’m not sure I’m happy with my current one. It’s kind of addicting once you start. Every image I see now I think, hey, that could be my favicon!
I’d like to have a nice favicon for my site, but I can’t figure out what it should be.
