The story of and is so adorable, I’ll let Best Friends tell it:
Adopt a pair of love-struck sweethearts?
Max noticed the voluptuous Maureen from across the glen in 2003. He approached her and offered her part of his carrot. Maureen swooned. From that point on, they were joined at the cottontail.
A year later, Max and Maureen came to Best Friends. And when they arrived at the sanctuary, surprise! Maureen was pregnant. Soon after she gave birth, Best Friends “fixed” that issue right away!
Max and Maureen spend all their time together and still act like love-crossed teen bunnies. They snuggle and kiss all day long. They’re a little shy around people, although Max can be bribed to get up close and personal with a person if there’s a strawberry or papaya treat involved. Max and Maureen would like to find a forever home together — they can’t bear the thought of ever being apart!
Now isn’t that sweet? You can for $50 to buy both of these bunnies a sweet treat!
