This is Macaroon, one of the beautiful cats you can sponsor or even adopt from . She is a perfect example of the loving care BFAS provides all animals, ensuring that every animal has a place to be cared for their whole lives. You see, Macaroon has been living at Best Friends for 14 years. When she was very young, she had a litter of kittens, and was adopted by a family. Unfortunately one of that family’s members was allergic to her, and poor Macaroon ended up at Best Friends. Thank goodness she did, though, because she’s lived a happy life there for 14 years…anywhere else and she never would have lasted so long. Despite her age, Macaroon is still looking for a forever home, and Best Friends hasn’t given up helping her look. She is shy, but is fine with calm kids and other cats, so she really is very adoptable! Meanwhile, though, she can stay at Best Friends as long as she needs to. That’s just the kind of wonderful place the ranch is.
