I haven’t been this excited about a game in years, but I adore Bioshock. I’ve played Civilization IV on the PC quite a bit, and I have a friend that I play that with, but Bioshock is just great. I played a lot of hours of Grand Theft Auto IV when I first got the Xbox 360, but then I decided to try out Bioshock. Shortly after getting into the game, that 360 died – the usual RROD errors, of course. But I sent away and got it repaired and now I am having a delightful time with it. I honestly don’t know why I love the game so much – I’m not usually an FPS kind of gamer. But Bioshock is just supremely cool somehow…the environment, the storyline, everything. I’m big on postapocalyptic stuff anyway, so it’s cool from that perspective, but it’s also just cool. I especially appreciate the minigames…and the opportunities you get to bypass them if you don’t feel like solvingthem. Does anybody else out there play Bioshock? What do you think of it?
