It just occurred to me that I’ve passed the 10-year mark for chronic urticaria. It started in mid-February 1999. As far as I know I still have it, though I’ve cut back on my allergy meds significantly for financial reasons and it hasn’t come back. I have a few hives here and there occasionally but nothing like the horrific freak show that I used to be around 2002, when I couldn’t walk, couldn’t get out of bed, etc. Knock on wood it’ll never be that bad again.

Urticaria is the pits! I don’t know what’s worse, the red or the itch… but congrats on not having it come back. It’s gotta feel good.
