Well crap, my Flickr Pro account is going to expire in 5 days. I am not working right now so I am cash-strapped. I have to decide if I want to go ahead and buy it…I might be able to swing a one-year account.
Wow…an anonymous benefactor has gifted me with a year of Flickr Pro. It’s so strange not knowing who it is! Part of me really wants to know, and part of me wants to just be happy knowing that someone out there cares about me, even if I don’t know who it is. I’m tickled quite pink!
And hey, I made this awesome papercraft, check it out. It’s my first one though, so it kind of sucks…when I say “awesome” I mean the pattern. Which is here:

Hey there,
You do know me, but I’m keeping this anonymous for a reason.
I’ve bought you a gift of a year for Flickr Pro. How can I get the code to you? (Would prefer not to email if I can help it, since any anonymizing techniques could be misclassed as spammy.)
Thanks.
Er…I guess this is my only way to respond to you! You can just leave it in the comments right now if you want, I’m going to be on the computer for a while and I’d be VERY surprised if somebody else got to it before I did.
Okay then.
It’s Ts4279B7.
(Sorry for the impersonal aspect of doing this anonymously, but I tend not to like being the center of attention with things like this. I hope you can understand.)
Wow, thank you so much! I’m trying to balance my curiosity about who you are with the knowledge that someone out there cares about me, and it doesn’t matter whom, only that I am loved. Thank you again! Hug yourself for me!
*hugs self*
BTW, turns out it isn’t actually so anonymous; the Flickr message I got to say you’d accepted it said, in part, “We’ve also marked you as each other’s contacts.”
So I guess it wasn’t quite so anonymous, and I guess it probably told you who it was, too. Oh well, I tried!
That said, I don’t see you in my contact list, so maybe that’s not true. Well, whatever.
I don’t see you mine either, and it didn’t tell me who you were! The only contact I have that I don’t recognize is Ethiopian Community Television, and I’m quite certain I have no idea who that is or how they got on my contact list. So even if that’s you, you’re still anonymous, because I haven’t a clue who that is!
Nope, that’s not me. o.o (You do know me.)
Cool. In that case, enjoy your year of Flickr Pro.
(btw, one last request before I vanish off into the night. Could you move the CAPTCHA above the Submit Comment button? I keep forgetting to do the CAPTCHA because it looks to be outside the form. If it’s not easy to do, that’s fine.)
Aha! I figured it out! Kind of.
Turns out there was a new version, and that lets you change the tab index. So now the box is still under the submit button, but when you tab out of the comment box, you’ll go to the captcha, then another tab goes to the submit button. I think that’s the best I’ll be able to do.
Figured out who I was, or the CAPTCHA thing?
In any case, thanks for the update.
It’s much appreciated.
No no, the captcha thing. I still haven’t a clue who you are! It’s almost surreal.
