  • So many e-mails to catch up on from this week, so little time. Simply cannot wait for Saturday. I miss having a PC during the day. #
  • Looks like USAG has two reasons to be proud. I wonder where RUS and ROM ended up. I still love 70s/80s best…the days of URS/ROM dominance. #
  • Seem to have a trainee shadowing the RN today. Should be quiet here, in face I just dozed for 30 mins or so. I got the comfy chair! #
  • There’s a rule that I can’t sleep in the patient’s room, even if I just doze off, she has to wake me. Who knew! Better keep myself busy. #
  • Hospital food seems okay to me. Nice menu every day, assuming no restrictions. Wish the cafeteria here wasn’t so bad, same stuff every day. #
  • Oh my. Screaming baby in next bed + my patient’s alarm going off = me waiting in the hall till they need me. #

  • For 20 years I’ve thought Angle Guenchev won gold in 1988 for weightlifting. Turns out he was stripped of his medal for steroid doping!! #
  • For 20 years I’ve thought Angel Guenchev won weightlifting gold in Seoul. Turns out his medal was stripped for steroid doping!! #
  • Reading a good book feels like eating or driving. Chowing down on delicious words, or putting the pedal to the metal through chapters. Yum. #
  • No more hospital shifts till Wednesday. I get to be a college student again for a few days. Very startling to switch worlds like this. #
