I am so tired today. All day I’ve been sleepy, staring at my computer with my eyes defocusing and occasionally closing, and with the occasional twitch of a leg or fingers. I had a meeting at 9am and heaven knows how I made my way through it. I did manage to catch some feedback from my client; he was nodding at appropriate times so apparently the message was still getting across. Not a good way for an interpreter to operate in general, though. Even the 20oz of Diet Mountain Dew I had this morning isn’t helping. I wish there was something resembling a nap space here, though. I’ve gone into the bathroom a couple of times to doze for five minutes at a time while sitting on one of the toilets; I perfected this skill when I was working at a place where I was the only female on the floor and I knew nobody would disturb me. I’m just so tired…I will probably take a nap when I get home from work today.
