Pink for October
Well, this is embarrassing. I bought a geocoin, activated it, and then carried it around for a couple of weeks. And then…I lost it. The last time I remember having it was when we were in New York for the Perfume movie a couple of weeks ago, and now it is not anywhere. I’ve looked in all my coat and pants pockets, and all through my Firefox backpack that I’d brought with me, and through my purse. I have no freaking clue where my geocoin is. I finally e-mailed the friend we were staying with to ask if he’s seen it - perhaps I put it down on a table or something instead of putting in my pocket like I thought I did. Augh!

What is a geocoin?
Good point, I should explain that! It’s a little token that’s used in geocaching. Geocaching is a sport that involves using GPS units to find hidden treasures (”caches”), there are thousands of them all over the world. A geocoin moves from cache to cache, and you can track its movements on the website. Each time a person finds it in a cache, they move it to the next cache they visit.
