My first payments from PayPerPost came through today, via PayPal. I got $5 for making a referral, and I got payments of $6 and $10 for a couple of my early posts. As of this post, my total earned to date is $266.91, with $21 already paid and $245.91 pending.

The company seems to be doing rather well. It’s not obvious who writes the official blogs - several posts are listed as by “Anonymous” or “PayPerPost” - but they have entries like their holiday party, charity events, etc. as well as notification of things like server downtime and new projects they’re working on.

I could probably be making a lot more money than I already am, if I wanted to write about things like UK-based credit card companies, humidifiers, etc. - but I don’t! Instead I am just collecting a few dollars here and there, and getting them all via PayPal. I think it’s silly to pay individually - weekly payments might be better - but as long as I can wait to move them into my bank account whenever I please, I’m okay with it.
