I’ve caved. I want an iPod. Originally I swore I wouldn’t even use iTunes, much less an iPod. I now use iTunes. My current big MP3 player is a 40GB Polaroid Juke Jam, and to be honest the user interface is pretty bad, so I don’t use it. My mom got me an iRiver with (I think) 128MB storage a little while back; I ended up trading it to firesign3000 for a Dreamcast, which I pretty much only use to play Seaman (which actually belongs to entelein!) and Space Channel 5. Then my dad got a 512MB iPod Shuffle for me, and I started using it for podcasts and occasionally music, both through iTunes. I like it. And iPod has to be #1 for a reason. I want an iPod.

So I’m lurking on eBay, trying to find one for a decent price. I think I want at least third-generation, and I think I want at least 15GB of storage…but fourth-generation would be better, and so would 20GB of storage…and a color screen, of course. I really want to score one for a semi-decent price, but I’m not sure how much luck I’m going to have. Does anybody reading this have an iPod they would like to sell? I’m officially in the market for one!

Edit: I just bought a 3G with 15GB and a dock for $66 on eBay, plus $12 shipping. Yay!
