I signed up for Buzznet a couple of weeks ago when I got my Sidekick, but I didn’t use it because I was a bit wary of it. I then forgot all about it until I saw Wil Wheaton’s posting of Crazy Old Walter (he’s going to be on CSI, yay!). I poked around for a minute or two and then promptly uploaded a slew of pictures that I’ve taken with my Sidekick. They’re all from my Flickr sidekick stream, but I didn’t upload the ones that have been locked to friends-only viewing on Flickr.
Now I’m trying to figure out what to do with the Buzznet gallery. I need to investigate the post-by-mail interface to determine if it’s more flexible than Flickr’s, and whether or not it allows posting direct from mail to an offsite blog. I also don’t know if any of my friends are on Buzznet - I have several contacts listed on Flickr, but the only people I have listed on Buzznet are Wil Wheaton and the extra account I made before I remembered the original account’s password (the nice tech support guy deleted it for me)!

I really need to test out Flicker, but part of the test is their Blogger API which I’m having problems with. Blog City, my host, is in the middle of trying to get out a new version of their software that was actually supposed to come out a month ago. Guess their testing is going slower than expected. Anyway, I did try out some other “moblog” services aside from Flicker last year and found that Buzznet seemed to be the best of the bunch.
