Iraq: Tourist Hotspot?

Posted by on February 10, 2003

It didn’t surprise me at all to find an Ananova “Quirkies” item about the current popularity of guides to Iraq. Today I sold both of the Iraq road maps we had (the World Terrorism Map sold out long ago), and then discovered in the “holding for customers” basket a copy of the very same Bradt guide to Iraq mentioned in the Quirkies. I’m the primary book person at the store, and I haven’t ever seen this before, so it’s presumably been on hold for a long time and can be returned to the shelf.
